Early American Tin SteamLocomotive Pull Toy Schlesinger

Here is a nice rare early American toy. From research of the patent, this was made by Leo Schlesinger of New York, in the 1880s. It is embossed "PAT'D MAR.6.83" on the side of the frame, and has a hard to read hand painted gold "Union" on the boiler sides. This engine measures 8-1/2" long. Has a little bell attached to the back axle. Don't know if the cow catcher has an early weld to hold it on. This is a great find - don't miss. Please ask any questions.Thanks.
