Lionel Prewar # 226E Steam Locomotive w/ 2226WX Tender

Here is one of my favorite Lionel Steam Locomotives - a very nice prewar Lionel "O" Gauge 2-8-4 No. 226E steam locomotive, with its matching No. 2226WX Whistle Tender (the WX tender has the low couplers that fit the semi-scale freight cars). This is the version with the tender having blackened journals. Engine measures 10-3/4" long not including the couplers. The engine is in excellent or better condition - as seen in the pictures. The tender unfortuately has some warpage on the shell. The engine has been tested and it runs, well the whistle on the tender works, but makes noise. I believe the pictures tell the story, however, if you have any questions, please ask before bidding.
