Lionel Prewar # 614 Blue Comet Observation Car + BOX

This evening I am offering a group of items from Lionel's O gauge Blue Comet Sets from 1936-38 (see bottom picture for the group - this auction is for the below listed item only).

Here is a hard to find No. 614 Observation Car in the two-toned Blue Comet colors - plus its original BOX. Condition is very good to excellent - as seen in the pictures. Nice original paint, nickel journals. Has a few scratches and specks of white paint on the roof. The body overall is very nice with a couple minor scratches Graphics strong. Trucks and couplers are clean. Box is is missing end flaps on one end. I believe the pictures tell the story well (please click on the link ABOVE to see all the photographs).
