J & E Stevens Cast Iron Tammany Mechanical Bank

This is the J & E Stevens, designed by John Hall, Tammany mechanical bank. Patented in 1875. Put a coin in his hand and it will drop into the slot as he bows his head. The bank measures 6" high by 4-1/2" in depth. It is in very good condition with no breaks or cracks. I believe that the face and the pants have been touched-up. A nice bank for your collections.
