Lionel Postwar Set # 1503WS, 2055, 6026W, 6456 +Set BoxHere is a very nice set of Lionel postwar trains - Set No. 1503WS. The set includes - the No. 2055 4-6-4 "O" gauge Steam Engine with its 6026W Tender. Also, we also have four freights - the No. 6465 Sunoco tank car - the No. 6456 black Lehigh Valley Hopper - the No. 6462 green Gondola - and the No. 6257 caboose. It also includes all the individual boxes, a No. 6109 remote control set (wires brittle), the 1033 90-Watt Transformer with a lock-on (main cord is a little stiff), 8- pieces of curved track and (6) pieces of straight, and the original Set Box. Overall, this is a real nice looking set. The engine and tender are very nice. The engine has one bent step on the front as pictured. Run in forward and reverse, lights up and smoke, but I would give it a good cleaning to run perfectly. The whistle on the tender works fine. The freights are all excellent. The engine box has a repaired flap on one end. The individual boxes have a couple missing interior flaps and a couple tuck flaps on the 6462, but overall in very good shape. The set box has a repaired tear on a top flap, but the box is nice and sturdy. I do not think that these trains were run much. Please ask any questions. A good Lionel postwar set to own.
