Lionel No. 223P/218C Santa Fe Alco 1963 AB Diesels

These are the #223P/218C Santa Fe Alco AB Diesels that Lionel made circa. 1963. Scarce, came in only one cataloged set, the top-of-the-line 027 Space Set that included a #6407 Flat Car with Large Rocket. Correct A-unit chassis with Horn, two-position E-unit, and one-axle Magnetraction. Condition is very good to excellent - as seen in all the pictures below. No breaks or cracks. Some minor scratches and wear. Ran when tested. A nice set - don't miss.
