Rare Wilkins Pressed Steel Early Wind-up Racer Runabout Car

This is a great looking toy. Not often seen. This was manufactured by Wilkins Toy Co., Keene, New Hampshire, USA. Circa. 1913. This is one of their first pressed steel toys. A Racer with cast iron Driver. Wind-up toy with cast iron wheels. The toy measures 9-3/4" long. Rarely seen, this one is in very nice overall condition. Wind-up works. Wheels missing most of the rubber that is supposed to be around them. A great looking early piece - not to be missed. Thanks.
