Lionel Postwar Set # 1503WS, 2055, 6026W, 6456, 6462, 6465 +Set Box (DAKOTApaul)

Here is a very nice set of Lionel postwar trains, ready for your Holiday layout. WOW! Just like the year these were made 1953! This is Lionel Set No. 1503WS. The set includes - the No. 2055 4-6-4 "O" gauge Steam Engine with its 6026W Tender. Also, we also have four freights - the No. 6465 Sunoco tank car - the No. 6456 maroon Lehigh Valley Hopper - the No. 6462 green Gondola - and the No. 6257 red caboose. It also includes all the individual boxes, the 1033 90-Watt Transformer, 8- pieces of curved track and (3) pieces of straight, and the original Set Box. Overall, this is a very nice looking set. The engine and tender are in very good condition - as seen in all the pictures below. Both steps on the engine in the front are a little turned up, which is typical for this engine. I noticed one little spot of touch-up on the top cab roof. Runs in forward and reverse, lights up and smokes. The whistle on the tender works fine. The freights are all very good to excellent - no problems that I see. The engine box does have its original insert. The tender box is a reproduction. The other individual boxes have some tape reinforcement to the flaps, and a couple missing interior flaps, but overall in good shape. The set box is nice and sturdy, but does have one flap that has been glued onto the side. Please ask any questions. A good Lionel postwar set to own. Thanks.
