Lionel No. 1766, 1767 1768 Standard Gauge Transitional Passenger Cars OBs

Here is a wonderful set of prewar Lionel Standard Gauge Passenger Cars. This is the original passenger cars from "Washington Special" set from the 1930s. This set includes - the No. 1767 Baggage Car, the No. 1766 Coach, and the No. 1768 Observation -"IVES Transitional" cars. All done in terra-cotta with maroon roofs - brass trim. What is special about this set is the (3) high quality, brick-like, original BOXES. 

This set is in its original excellent condition - as seen in the photographs (and please click the link that says MORE photographs above to view ALL the pictures before bidding). The cars have some minor nicks and some marks on the roofs, but overall look great (see pics). Five of the handrails were loose and came off the pullman car, but are included (see pics). Trucks, wheels and bottoms look clean. The Boxes are just outstanding. Bright like new with all flaps. A nice set for the collector. Don't miss.
