American Flyer Prewar WG Std Gauge 4680 Steam Engine Freight Set

Here is a very nice original American Flyer Wide Gauge (WG) Freight Set. It features the 4-4-2 No. 4680 Steam Engine with its No. 4671 Metal Tender. The Engine is die-cast and measures a large 16-1/2" long. It is pulling (5) Freight Cars - a No. 4020 Cattle Car, 8 million tags - a No. 4018 Boxcar - a 4010 yellow Tank Car - a No. 4022 Flatcar - and a No. 4011 red Caboose. The Engine and tender look to be in great condition. I do not know a lot about these particular engines, so I do not know if the finish is original or an early repaint. I took a lot of pictures for you to see. I do know that it runs in forward and reverse when tested. No breaks or cracks to the castings. The Freights all are in good condition, some better than others. All with the matching gray trucks. The 4010 looks like it has (5) replaced stanchions and some are loose. The Cattle car is missing one brake wheel on one end. The Caboose looks particular nice. Selling all as one LARGE set, so don't miss.
