Rare Lionel Train Set No. 2165WS, 736, 2671WX, 6472 ++Set BoxHere is a wonderful set of Lionel Postwar O Gauge Trains. When I first opened the set box. I couldn't believe how well these trains have been preserved. I first saw the Engine box, which was unbelievable. The graphics were strong and the box brick-like. Pulling out the engine it was wrapped in its original Lionel paper, and at first glance it looked like new. Well the rest of the set followed - in the same beautiful condition. This is a set you don't see very often. You find the 2163WS Set but rarely the 2165WS. It was just slightly more expensive, and it included the hard to find 2671WX Tender, and some operating cars. This set includes the No. 736 "O" Berkshire 2-8-4 steam locomotive, with its 2671WX "Lionel Lines" whistle tender. Also, included are the freights - No. 6456 maroon Lehigh Valley Hopper, the No. 3461 automatic lumber car with wooden load, the No. 3472 Refrigerator Car with platform, and the No. 6457 Tuscan caboose. Additionally, we have the all individual boxes, smoke pellets, lock-on, a USC, paperwork, inspection slips, 8 pieces of curved track, and 3 sections of straight. Condition is excellent and better as seen in the ALL 75 of pictures below. All of the trains have been run, but very little. All the boxes are also outstanding, with minimal wear and a few minor tears. The only issue is with the Hopper box which has a repaired end flap. Nice and bright with all flaps. Also, the deck of the refrigerator car platform has some wear. The set box has some of the corners that shows some wear, and some writing on the top. But that's about it.
