J.E. Stevens Frog on Base Cast Iron Mechanical Bank NRThis is the "Frog on Base" Mechanical Bank, made by J & E Stevens, Pat 1872. By pressing on one foot, the frog's mouth opens - insert coin, and it drops into the bank while the frogs eyes wink. Size is 4-3/8" in diameter. This bank is in good condition. Nice paint variation. Does have a repaired break in the frogs front left leg (see pics). The rest looks good. Mechanism working. Don't miss. Thanks. Price: $450 SORRY! SOLD!
