Rare Lionel No 228 Prewar 0-6-0 Switcher w/ 2228T Tender NO RESERVE (DP)

Here is one you won't find very often. This is the Lionel prewar No. 228 0-6-0 PRR Switcher with its matching No. 2228T Tender. The number 228 is cast in the boiler front plate. The tender is marked "2228T" on the bottom. The Engine and Tender are in excellent condition - as seen in the pictures. Nice graphics, some minor oxidation. The Engine and tender have the ribbed couplers without coupler pin.  When put on a test track it ran in forward and reverse. Could use a nice lube. A very nice prewar O gauge Switcher. Don't miss!
