Nice Lionel 226E Locomotive w/ 2226WX Tender from /Set 291W (DAKOTApaul)

I am offering a great grouping of Lionel "O" Gauge Trains from 1940/41. These are from Lionel Set No. 890W. (See the bottom picture for the group - this is for the Engine and Tender only).

Here is one of my favorite Lionel Steam Locomotives - the Lionel "O" Gauge 2-6-4 No. 226E steam locomotive, with its matching No. 2226WX Whistle Tender - with simulated knuckle couplera. Engine measures 10-3/4" long not including the couplers. The engine is in excellent condition - as seen in the pictures. Some minor wear. The tender is also nice, but does has a some marks, and shows some wear to the high areas. White rubber stamped lettering. Some oxidation underneath. The engine has been tested and it runs in forward and reverse. Lights up in the front and red underneath. The whistle on the tender also worked when tested.
