Scarce Hubey Cast Iron & Pressed Steel Ferris Wheel 1900s

Here a toy you will not see very often. One of Hubley's earliest toys. Cataloged in their first catalogs (see last picture) - this is a wind-up, or clockwork, Ferris Wheel. Wind it up and the ferris wheel goes around. This one works great! Wound up, it will go over 10 revolutions. The toy measures 17" Wide x 17" Tall x 5" Deep.  Ferris Wheel is 14" in diameter.  Condition is clear in the photographs. It does have some wear on the gondolas which are made of pressed steel, with cast iron figures. A great toy and a show piece for any collection. Don't miss.
