Lionel Postwar Set # 1533WS 2055 6026W 3562-50 6436 ++Set BoxHere is a very nice set of Lionel postwar trains - Set No. 1533WS from 1955. The set includes - the No. 2055 4-6-4 "O" gauge Steam Engine with its 6026W Tender. Also, we also have four freights - 3562-50 yellow A.T. & S.F. operating barrel car with individual OB of barrels, 160 bin and controller, 6436 black Lehigh Valley quad hopper, 6465 silver Sunoco two dome tank, 6357 SP type caboose The 6019 remote control track section, eight curve sections of track, three straight sections of track and lock on. It also includes all the individual boxes, the 1033 90-Watt Transformer, paperwork and the original Set Box. All that is pictured. Overall, this is a real nice looking set. The engine and tender are in excellent condition. The engine runs well in forward and reverse, lights up and smoke. The whistle on the tender works however, both wires are loose underneath. The freights are all excellent to like new. The engine box still sealed on one end. The individual boxes show some wear, and have a couple repaired flaps, but overall in very good shape. The 6019 has the typical brittle wires. Transformer works and is in great shape. The set box shows some skinning but has its original department store markings and label (see pics). A very nice set.
