High Grade Lionel No. 726 Berkshire 2-8-4 w/ 2426W + BOXES

This is just a beautiful high quality Lionel Berkshire. The Lionel No. 726 steam engine, and its No. 2426W Tender. Comes with its original boxes, and inserts. The Locomotive is the version with the e-unit lever on the top - therefore dating it to 1947-49. Has the Lionel Precision motor. The engine and tender are in wonderful original condition - as seen in all the pictures. Beautiful original patina that looks like new. What is most impressive to me is the tender shell, which is one of the best I've seen.  The Engine Box is brick-like with nice original insert. Tender box has extensive flap repair.
