Lionel Set No. 2148 WS w/ 773, 2625, 2627, 2628 MadisonHere is a neat Set of Lionel trains from 1950. This is the second set of these trains that I've listed in this past month (ebay item # 120146748512). This is Lionel "O" gauge Set No. 2148 WS. It includes the No. 773 Hudson Steam Locomotive with its No. 2426W Whistle Tender. Also, the (3) Madison Passenger Cars - the No. 2625 "Irvington", the No. 2627 "Madison" and the No. 2628 "Manhattan" lighted Pullman cars with silhouetted passengers. Condition notes: Overall this is a very nice set as you can see from the pictures. The engine has been repainted at some time in its past. (plus I was notified that this version of the 7723 is the 60s version. PLEASE NOTE). The tender has its original paint. It did notice a small touch-up to the paint on one side. I put both on a test track, and the engine ran in forward and reverse, the tender whistled. The cars look very nice - as seen in the pictures. The 2625 shows some small areas of touch-up. Wheels have been cleaned on the bottom. The 2627 is absolutely gorgeous. I don't see any problems. I see a couple of touch-ups on the 2628, but very small. Please check the pictures carefully, and please ask if you have any condition questions. A beautiful set of trains, for the ultimate collector! Price: $1650 SORRY! SOLD!
