Early Marklin Prewar German "O" Scale 8 Car Freight Train Set

Here is a fantastic looking Marklin prewar "O" gauge (8) car tin lithographed clockwork freight train set. Not sure of the set number, but it includes the Marklin Steam engine marked No. R/890 with its Tender marked 899. Also included is the 17720 Stake Hopper with original wooden load, the No. 1688 GAMBRINUS car- the 17548 small red Gondola, the No. 17535 longer green Gondola, and the 17710 high Gondola with doors that open, and the 15870 "Mineral Wasser" Car. I don't know a lot about these trains, but I will give you some details as to what I see. Overall these are in very good to excellent condition - as seen in the pictures. Some of the cars have scratches, but in general nice tin lithography. Many have their original paper labels on the bottom. Have notbeen able to test the clockwork, as the set does not come with a key. Please ask any questions before bidding. This is a great item for the Marklin collector - don't miss.
