Lionel # 261E Prewar 2-4-2 Steam Locomotive 261T Nickel

Here is a Lionel train engine you won't see very often. Cataloged in 1935, this is a very nice Lionel prewar "O" gauge 2-4-2 No. 261E steam locomotive with its matching No. 261T tender. Nickel trim. The loco measures 10" not including its couplers, the tender is 5-1/2". Condition is excellent - as seen in the pictures. Cow catcher complete and unbroken. Latch works. The outside side rods may be replacements (?). Missing a stanchion on the back handrail. I put the train on a test track and it ran but then did not run. The tender is in very good condition.
