Lionel Prewar Passenger Set 1083 w/ 1684 Engine, 1630 +

Here is a very nice passenger set of Lionel prewar "O27" gauge trains from 1942 - This is Set No. 1086. It includes the No. 1684 four-drive-wheel steam locomotive, with a No. 1689T Tender. It includes a set of (3) blue with gray roof Passenger Cars - two No. 1630 Pullmans and a No. 1631 Observation. These are in close to excellent condition - as seen in the pictures. Cosmetically, this engine is really nice, hardly a scratch. I got the engine on a test track- but had some problem with a sticking e-unit. Tender has a few scratches. Cars are also very good to excellent. Box couplers and trucks are clean. One car has some sort of "varnish" type smudge on a section of its roof (see pics) - but other that that, a real nice set of cars.
