Lionel No 265E Commodore Vanderbilt Loco w/265W TenderTonight I'm listing a nice grouping of Lionel prewar "O" gauge trains from Sets 274W and 273W. Circa. 1935 (see bottom pictures for the trains, and a photo from the 1935 catalog - this auction is for engine and tender only). Here is a very nice prewar Lionel No. 265E Commodore Vanderbilt Locomotive with its No. 265W Tender in black. Made in 1935-40. Engine runs well in both forward and reverse. Whistle on tender works but does not make a clear whistle sound. The engine has been lovingly restored, and the tender is original. The engine has a minor scratch on one side.
