Lionel Early Postwar 224 Engine & 2466W Blackened RailsThis evening I am offering a nice grouping of early postwar pieces from Lionel's first set - No. 463W (see bottom picture for the grouping - this auction is for the item listed below only). Here is the Lionel "O" gauge No. 224 2-6-2 Steam Engine, with its matching No. 2466W Tender made in 1945. Early postwar with blacken handrails, and extended drawbar. Tender also has the blackened rails and the hole in the bottom of the frame for the drawbar. Black Flying Shoe couplers. The set shows some wear as pictured. The tender has some serious "skinning" on the sides. The engine ran in both forward and reverse. Whistle did not work - no power. I believe the pictures speak for themselves, however, if you have any questions let me know. Thanks. Buyer pays shipping (Insurance is included in the shipping and handling fees for items over $300). Please check out my other items currently listed, and save on shipping. NO RESERVE. Price: $164 SORRY! SOLD! |
