Lionel 221 NYC Loco w/ 221T Tender Rare Aluminum Wheels

Here is an extremely nice Lionel "O27" gauge No. 221 New York Central Locomotive with its matching Tender No. 221W. This is an early 1946 with the aluminum colored wheels. The loco measures 9-1/2" long not including the couplers, and the tender 5-7/8". In real nice condition as you can see in the photographs. Two small things I see - the graphics on the engine are faded - more on one side - and the engine has a small place of oxidation on its rods. Engine runs in forward and reverse.
