Lionel Standard Gauge Set No. 347 w/ No. 8, 337, 338, 332 ++

Here is a great original set of prewar Lionel Standard Gauge Trains. This is Set No. 347 from the late 1920-30s which features the olive green No. 8 Electric Engine. This set includes a No. 337 Passenger Car, the No. 338 Observation and a red (yes that is correct - this Set was sometimes sold with a red car) 332 Baggage Car. Also included is the Individual Boxes, Inspection Slips, and a very nice Set Box - all that is pictured below.

This set is in beautiful condition. Unbelievable - for a set from the 1930s. Certainly these trains did not get much run time on the track. I believe that the pictures tell the story. The engine looks wonderful. However, it has one scratch/dent in the roof, and the wheels are blown out from age. The cars have their original paint, and a wonderful Lionel label on the bottom. Other than a couple small box rubs, I can't find anything wrong with these cars. The individual boxes are all very nice. Engine has its box insert. The set box is strong and sturdy. This is high quality, great looking set for your standard gauge collections.
