Lionel Set # 2273W Milwaukee Road FS 2378 w/ 3662 342 ++

Here is a wonderful and rare Set of Lionel O Gauge postwar Trains. Set No. 2273W from 1956. Featuring the Milwaukee Road No. 2378P and 2378C F-3 A and B Diesels with Dual Motors, Magnetraction and Horn. It includes the No. 342 Operating Culvert Loader with the No. 6342 NYC Culvert Gondola, the No. 3562-50 Yellow Operating Barrel Car, the No. 3662 Operating Milk Car Set, the No. 3359 Operating Twin-Dump Ore Car, and the No. 6517 Bay Window Caboose. Comes with the individual boxes, some paperwork, a UCS, peripherals, and the rare Set Box. All that is photographed in the many pictures below. This is a wonderful and large set of trains - rarely seen. Overall, I would grade this in excellent and better condition. I will detail what I see about the individual pieces. The engine is overall a really nice condition. Runs in forward and reverse. The decal has some wear, but for this engine it is better than most. I see some minor wear on the sides. The "B" unit is in similar excellent condition. The set is missing the powered unit box, the "B" unit box has some skinning and is missing a tuck flap. The 342 is in outstanding condition as pictured. I do see a couple of oxidation spots on the deck of the platform. The box is missing some inserts. The 3662 Operating Milk Car Set is in excellent shape, as well as the 3562-50 Barrel Car. No breaks or cracks. The Barrel Car box has some repair, and was torn on one side. The 3359 Twin-Bin Dump Car has its original cardboard insert. Box has some flap repair but is all there. A very nice 6517 Caboose in excellent shape. Box also has some repairs on the flaps. The Set Box is nice and firm. Two of the interior flaps have been reattached. You can see a small repair to the top corner on the front. Please have fun looking at all the pictures, and if something as far as condition is not visually seen - email me any questions. This is the set to own. Buy with confidence. Thanks.
