Lionel Train Set No. 2163WS, 736, 2671WX, 6472 +Set Box NO RESERVE (DAKOTApaul)Here is a NEAT set of Lionel "0" gauge postwar trains. Set No. 2163WS from 1950. It includes the No. 736 "O" Berkshire 2-8-4 steam locomotive, with its 2671WX "Lionel Lines" whistle tender. Also, included are the freights - No. 6465 Sunoco tank car, the No. 6462 black gondola car with barrels, the No. 6472 Refrigerator Car, and the No. 6457 Tuscan caboose. Additionally, we have the original instruction sheets and operating manuel, some individual boxes - and a very nice original SET BOX. Condition is as seen in the all the pictures (please scroll down the page to view - and click on the link above to see even MORE photographs). The 736 loco is overall in excellent shape. We put it on a track and it ran well in forward and reverse and smokes. I notice a couple small touch-up on the cab roof. The tender has a replaced shell, and a melt mark on the underside scoop - whistle works well. The freights are generally in nice condition - as pictured below. The refrigerator car looks like it has very little if any run time. The Caboose has a small melt indent on the bottom of one side. I see no breaks or cracks to any of the cars. The Engine BOX is the 1950s version - dated on the side. Has its interior lining. The individual boxes have tape and missing some flaps. Missing the 6472 Box. The set box wonderful. Nice and firm with all flaps. This set did not come with a transformer. If you are looking for a set from 1950s this is it - a nice set. I believe the pictures tell the story well, however, if you have any questions - let me know, Thanks. Offering in AUCTION format (support the auction format!) with NO RESERVE.
