Lionel Prewar O Gauge Set # 135 w/ 262 Engine 810 812 817 Freights (DAKOTApaul)

Here is a very nice Lionel prewar "O" Gauge Set - No. 135 cataloged from 1931-33. The Set features a 262 2-4-2 Steam Locomotive with its matching 262T Tender. The Engine pulls a No. 810 Crane Car, and No. 812 Gondola, and a No. 817 Caboose. This comes with its original Set Box. The The locomotive is in very good original condition - as seen in all the pictures below (and please click the link above to view ALL the pictures before bidding). Cow catcher is intact. Nice original black paint with copper trim and brass fittings. One of the front pilot wheels is distressed. Some oxidation. The tender is good condition with wear on the sides and some oxidation on wheels. Engine ran in forward and reverse when tested, but like ALL older engines its should be cleaned and lubed for optimal running. The 810 Crane car has brass plates and nickel journals. Excellent condition - couplers and wheels slight oxidation. Original crane hook. Everything seem to work well. The other two freights are also in nice condition with some wear as pictured.
