Lionel No. 2270W Jersey Central 2341 Aluminum Passenger Set

Here is a great looking Lionel Set from 1956  - the Lionel postwar "O" gauge Three-Car Jersey Central Passenger Set No. 2270W. The set features the 2341 Jersey Central FM with the "Flat Channel" No.  2533 Silver Cloud Pullman, No. 2352 Silver Range vista dome, and the 2533 Silver Dawn observation. A hard set to find with the original 2341 Jersey Central. This one is all original. Runs well in forward and reverse. Clean battery compartment. As you can see in the pictures below, both ends have hairline cracks that come from the screw on the ends. Also, if you look at the one end, the shell has some issues, where the shell has turned yellow. This appears in a couple of places just on the end and one side (see pics). Otherwise, it engine looks in excellent shape. Wheels and chassis clean. Some minor oxidation on some areas of the rail. The Cars are all the correct flat channel versions and are in excellent condition. Some scratches and scuffs but overall they look good. All light up correctly. Some very minor oxidation on the bottoms of a couple, but mostly clean. A great set - not to be missed for your collections. Please ask any questions. Thanks.
