American Flyer Prewar O Gauge Set # 4011 w/561 Die-Cast Engine 558T 494 2-495 DAKOTApaulHere is a very nice set of American Flyer "O" Gauge trains from 1940/41. Set No. 4011. A 3/16 Set that includes a No. 561 PENNSYLVANIA K5 4-6-2 black die-cast Locomotive with a 558 Tender. This Engine is pulling (3) sheet metal Passenger Cars - a No. 494 Baggage Car, and (2) No. 495 Coaches. All come with their original American Flyer Boxes. No set box. The Engine and Tender look to be in excellent condition. I see no breaks or cracks. A little wear to one of the Engine's side graphics. Missing its rear truck, and the front pony wheels are deteriorating. Tested and the Engine ran, but could us a good cleaning and lube. Tender looks nice and clean, strong graphics. The Passenger Cars are all excellent with nice original paint. Showing little run time. Some dirt and scratch marks, but overall mostly clean. The Baggage has (3) of its steps off, but are included. One car has its wire loose underneath. The Boxes are missing some flaps and a few have been reattached.
