Lionel No. 2267W 1956 Virginian 2331 Boxed Set w/3562 3359 3361 +

Here is a neat Lionel postwar O gauge train set - the No. 2267W Virginian Set. This was one of Lionel's top freight sets in 1956. This Set includes 2331 Virginian FM Diesel, a No. 3359-55 Double Dump Car, a No. 3562 Yellow Barrel Car, the No. 3361-55 Operating Lumber Car. This is just a partial set as it is missing the No. 6560 red Crane Car and the No. 6419-50 work Caboose. The Set has all individual boxes for listed, except the Engine box. Also includes a UCS, and the Set Box. All that is pictured.

The Engine will need some work, and included is a set of all metal railings, and a set of decals (see pics). One end of the Engine is chipped and other has a hairline crack. The battery compartment shows some corrosion around the battery cover. The battery bracket looks clean. When tested the Engine ran in forward and reverse. The freights look excellent with minor wear. Their boxes are a little creased and skewed as pictured. The Set box is also creased and skewed. It has some tears to a bottom corner, a repaired top flap, and some staining.
