American Flyer Prewar Hudson Engine 1680 w/1620 Type XI Tender

Here is the American Flyer prewar "O" gauge No. 1680/4680 -1681 Type XII  2-6-4 Hudson Locomotive with its 8-wheel 1620 Type XI  metal whistle Tender. The engine is in fair condition shown in the pictures. The best part of this engine is that it lights up and runs well in forward and reverse. I do not see any breaks or cracks. However, the paint condition is as seen in all the pictures (please click the link above to view ALL before bidding). Also, is missing a whistle on the cab roof. The tender also shows some paint wear. Has a whistle, but it did not work when tested. Also, offering a nice set of American Flyer Passenger Cars that would go with this engine in a separate auction (see bottom picture for the group - this auction is for the Engine and Tender ONLY). A real nice prewar Engine for American Flyer collectors.
