Lionel Train Set No. 1453WS, 2026, 6466WX, 3464, 3461 +

Here is a nice set of Lionel "0" gauge postwar trains. Set No. 1453WS from 1949. It includes an extremely nice Lionel 2-6-2 No. 2026 "O" gauge locomotive with an outstanding 8-wheel - 6466WX tender. Also, included are the freights - the No. 6465 Sunoco tank car - the No. 3461 Automatic Lumber Car - the No. x3464 Santa Fe A.T. & S.F. Box Car - and the No. 6357 SP Caboose. Additionally, we have all the individual boxes. Included is a 1033, 90 Watt Transformer, an operating manuel, some other instructions, a bottle of smoke pellets, some tubes of lube in a packet, and some track and connectors.

Condition is as seen in the pictures - which is excellent. The 2026 loco is cosmetically beautiful. Nice finish and very clean. We put it on a track and it runs in forward and reverse, but will need cleaning and lube to run perfectly. The tender also looks excellent - Whistle works. No breaks or cracks.

The freights look excellent. The wires on the caboose are getting brittle. The Sunoco appears a little faded. No breaks or cracks. The boxes are in good shape, as shown in the pictures. The 2026 and 6466WX boxes have their interior linings. Some flaps missing. The transformer will need a new power cord. The track looks good.
