Lionel No. 726 Berkshire Locomotive w/ 2426W Tender from 1948-49Here is a nice original Lionel No. 726 Berkshire 2-8-4 "O" gauge postwar Steam Locomotive with its matching No. 2426W Whistle Tender. This Locomotive is the version with the e-unit lever on the top and simulated coupler upfront - therefore dating it to 1948-49. Has the Lionel Precision motor. The engine is in good condition - as seen in the pictures (please click the link above to view ALL the pictures before bidding). Shows some wear to some of the high areas as pictured. Has not been touched up. I put the engine on a test track and it lights up and runs in forward and reverse. The whistle tender is also nice. Some paint scratches. Metal whistle housing.
