Lionel Prewar O Gauge Passenger Set 259E 259T (2) 603 604 Cars

Here is a really nice Passenger set of Lionel prewar trains. This includes a No. 259E Steam Engine with its matching No. 259T Tender. These are pulling two red with black roof No. 603 Pulman and a No. 604 Observation. Comes with their original Boxes. The Engine and tender are beautiful and include their original Boxes in good shape. The Engine has some oxidation and cracks to the back pony wheels. Also, one of the pick-up rollers has been soldered (see pics). The Engine lights up and runs in forward and reverse. The cars are just as nice - nice and bright with original paint. Clear stamping. Some minor wear, and a little spidering on the roofs - but very little. These cars are the versions without the air chambers on the bottom. Rare to find boxes on the Engine and Tender that are very nice. The Tender box is missing one interior flap. Passenger car boxes have some missing flaps. Overall, just a great set - don't miss.
