Rare American Flyer President's Special Set

Here is a great set of early American Flyer Wide Gauge (standard gauge) trains. This is the Presidents Special three car Passenger Set. It features the electric outline No. 4687 locomotive - dark blue; and (3) blue painted roof lithographed cars: No. 4090 "United States Mail Railwat Post Office" baggage car, No. 4091 "West Point" Pullman, and the No. 4092 "Annapolis" Observation car, all cars marked "American Flyer Limited".

Set retains strong clear lithography and great color. Dimensions: The loco measures 18" l., and the cars 19". This set is headed by a beautiful original Engine. Original paint. Looks great with only minimal wear as pictured. The engine ran when tested. Drivers have been replaced The cars are also very nice, with a couple issues. The Baggage Car has a poor touch-up on the roof. The Pullman is really nice, with no issues that I see. The Observation has original window inserts which sometimes was placed into the set. It has some touch up on the roof and on one side. Overall, this looks great.  This is one not to be missed! A large and impressive train. Thanks.
