Lionel No. 2242 New Haven F3 AB Diesel Engines NO RESERVE (DAKOTApaul)

Here is a very nice set of Lionel F-3 Diesels you won't see very often. These are the New Haven No. 2242 A and B units.These are in excellent condition - as seen in ALL the pictures. The powered unit has a small scratch on the right front side in the silver. A couple of marks on the roof. But overall the shell has that nice bright silver shine and patina. There is some corision wear to the frame around the battery compartment (see pics). Only a little wear on the battery bracket. Looks like a new horn was installed (has not been tested).  Runs in forward and reverse when tested. The non-powered unit ihas some minor marks, and the silver paint is thin in a couple of places. Also, nice bright silver. Clean frame and little runtime on wheels. Overall a nice clean set. Sorry no boxes. Don't miss. Thanks.
