Lionel Silver Streak Set 279E 265E Commodore Vanderbilt 261TX 619 618 (DAKOTApaul)

Here is a desirable Lionel prewar O gauge chrome Silver Streak passenger Set No. 279E, circa 1935. The Set includes a No. 265E black 2-4-2 Commodore Vanderbilt steam locomotive with nickel trim, a No. 261TX tender with nickel trim and journals, a No. 619 Baggage and Pullman Car, a No. 618 Observation Car, and one vestibule. This is a nice looking set as seen in all the pictures. The Engine has a replaced cab. Nice original patina with a couple small touch-ups. The chrome on the passenger cars is bright and shiny with minor surface scratching. When put on a test track the engine lights up and hums, and moves when coaxed. Sticky e-unit.
