High Grade Lionel No. 249E Prewar Black Locomotive & 265W Tender OBsHere is a wonderful looking Lionel No. 249E Steam Locomotive with its matching No. 265W Whistle Tender - both in the rare flat black finish. Comes with their originl BOXES. Size of the loco is 10" long, and the tender 6-1/2" not including its couplers. The engine is very clean. Nice bright nickel trim. Engines runs forward and reverse. The tender is also extremely nice with some mild wear. Whistle worked when tested. Boxes a re in good shape. Engine box has all flaps and its original insert. Tender box has half coupler flaps.
